Weekly Wishlist #5

I’m trying to be very mindful in my purchases this year. I want to buy quality, classic pieces that are versatile and will stand the test of time. Making wishlists with collages help me avoid impulse purchases. I love these monochromatic styles but I also love that all of these pieces could be mixed and matched to make many outfit possibilities. Everything can be styled for work or paired with denim for weekend syles.

The all red outfit is definitely outside of my typical styling, but I saw Arielle Charnas of Something Navy put this fit together and I was obsessed. Plus I feel each piece can be styled in so many ways. The red cotton cashmere blend turtleneck could easily be casual with a pair of black leggings or denim. And imagine these Gianvito Rossi Heels with a pair of jeans!

Anine Bing is hands down one of my favourite designers. Everything she makes is effortlessly chic. This cashmere sweater is an investment but definitely a piece that will stand the test of time. The silk skirt is the perfect length and again can be styled casually with a pair of cowboy inspired boots or with heels.

This year I am on the hunt for an investment winter coat. These two are in the running. The cream Anine Bing Dylan coat and The Row Daelen coat. I am obsessed with everything from The Row. The price point is most certainly on the high end so hoping to find some Black Friday deals!

I typically spend the most money on shoes and bags. I feel they are the anchor to an outfit and really complete the style. In my experience, when I have purchased less expensive bags, they don’t last long and in the long run aren’t sustainable purchases. My investment bags hold their value and I have bags that are over 15 years old that I still use. The 4 bags in this post are classics.
